In Topic 7 we learned about prohibition. But what is interesting that exactly the 18th amendment was a reason for a new era of crime.
It was very interesting for me to study about a small crime. A lot of that gang leaders are still known. I wonder why people still remember the killers and the robbers?
In our group we were working on John ( Baby Face ) Nelson. He killed the most police officers in the history. Why we still study about it at school. History needs to forget about those people.
I think that 1920th were the most crime time in US history. Especially Chicago was full of gangsters who commited different kinds of crimes.
The government trying to prevent using alcohol, caused a bigger problem.
